2- IF YOU ARE OVER 18 YOU ARE WELCOME TO FOLLOW THIS 10 LESSON COURSE ONLY .(part 1 = $ 20 ) –  Part 2 (exam and certificate $20) is only mandatory for teens under 18
Follow the course at your own pace (no timing) to compensate for the lack of experience and to refresh your memory to feel more comfortable driving behind-the-wheel. You are welcome to follow this course at 15 years of age to prepare for the Learners Permit.

3 – TOPICS TIMING IS SET FROM 30 MINUTES TO ONE HOUR MAX. (compare this to  2 hours in all other Drivers Ed Courses):
That means less time waiting for the timer to elapse if you are a fast learner

By State Law any and all online Drivers Ed Courses must have 30 hours of learning total time in order to match live classes.
We understand that reading alone takes less time than in a live class with instructor’s comments, questions interruptions, etc…This makes you stall at the end of each topic waiting for the timer to end. We also understand that some students can assimilate information faster than others and it is frustrating to wait for a timer to elapse. We did keep this in mind when creating this course and is fully approved by the DMV.

Instead of 2 hours per topic like all other Drivers-Ed Courses, we shortened the waiting time by creating more topics, dividing 10 lessons into 30 topics and training quizzes.thus lowering the average time to 30 minutes to 1.hour maximum according to importance,(like lessons 4, 5 and 6 related to defensive driving experience and safety.)

Click HERE to see the list of topics and their timing.
We included some videos to make it a more pleasant experience, some are funny, some are dramatic but we believe everyone who wants to drive a car should watch them.

About  Pierre,  webmaster and support for your online course:

My incentive is to help young drivers acquiring awareness in order to become wise and safe drivers.
My ambition is to help you being self-confident behind-the-wheel by acquiring knowledge, experience, awareness, understanding, common sense, and insight.
My friendly message: Honk if you believe in your guardian angel –  Text while driving if you want to meet him….:)

I am of a French origin but I have been living in Las Vegas for the last 42 years. I am a 73 retired truck driver with more than a million km in my arms with no accident  in more than 55 years of driving from 1961 (some bender fenders) and  I was awarded with the Driver’s Golden Palm from the French ” Prevention Routiere”..
Starting as a biker at 16, I drove 18 wheeler trucks for international Transport in Europe,(TIR) and I participated in the original construction of Charles De Gaulle  Airport driving 45 tons semis.  I  was a pilot /driver for some over-sized convoys in Paris (with Police escort) . Then moving to the Alps in France for five years, I was an occasional ambulance driver and an international excursion bus Driver. As such, I regularly drove Children from Paris to the Alps for snow- ski–class week ends and followed serious training for Ice and Snow Rally.on a racing Renault 10 Gordini..I have seen it all and learned a lot about road hazards.  accident prevention and defensive driving.

I decided to do this website after recently witnessing firsthand five teenagers of my neighborhood being crushed in an accident due to the young driver’s inexperience and distraction. Right in front of me while waiting to cross the median at an intersection, the young driver failed to yield to a big truck going downhill at 50 mph. No doubt this young driver did not remember anything from driver’s education. He crossed the truck’s path as it was entering the intersection. The full impact sideways sent the tiny car flew in the air to crash-land against a tree 30 feet away… I was the first one to reach them, I thought I was hardened by witnessing many horrific accidents in my life, this one hit a sensitive chord and I am hoping my experience may help saving young lives and sparing sorrow to their families.
